Sometimes the stars just align. My oldest brother, Jason, has spent many years over in South Korea teaching English to young students. He has made a trip back to visit about every two years and we miss him terribly while he's gone.
He married my beautiful sister-in-law a little over two years ago just after a visit and, regrettably, we were not able to make the trip over to see the wedding. Then this past January they had adorable little Logan!
My mother had planned on having her first visit to South Korea in early February to meet and help with the new little guy, then after some consideration, Jason and Wanjin thought August would be a better time for the visit since Jason had some time off then. I was totally bummed that I wouldn't be able to join my mother on the visit, but excited that she was going to be getting to have this experience.
Well, at the last minute Wanjin ended up having time off that was concurrent with Jason's and they decided to come back here to share Logan with everyone! Yay! I actually already had planned on heading back to Ohio at that time for some reunions, so it worked out just perfectly.
Jason and Wanjin wanted to get some family photos done while they were here and I was over the moon to take them! We headed over to the OARDC and captured these sweet moments!
In addition to some family photos, I got to capture little Logan's first time touching grass! Grass is not very common on Jeju apparently, so it was kind of a big deal. He was not too sure about it, but definitely curious.
