Well, my family is currently in the midst of another cross-country move and we seem to have come full circle. My husband has accepted a position that moves us back to where this photography journey officially began--Cincinnati, Ohio.
This is a bitter-sweet move for us. We have absolutely fallen in love with Southern California. We've made incredible friends and gotten to enjoy a year full of amazing adventures (which may have something to do with my complete lack of sharing of my beautiful California clients--there was just too much to do to spend time uploading images and writing blogs!). As wonderful as California has been, though, Cincinnati brings us back to some amazing friends and closer to family.
We are currently mid-move, but will be moving into our new place in mid-August and we can't wait!!! (Spending more than a month in your parents' house as an adult with three small children is a serious test of breaking points.) The new place will be located very conveniently just off of the I-71 and I-275 junction in Loveland.
And one of the things I'm most excited about--I will be able to build an in-home studio!!!! Gah!!! This has been a dream of mine for a LONG time. This means families will be able to choose from my full selection of beautiful props and backdrops on the day of the session rather than having to pre-select only a handful of items to bring along to newborn sessions. It also means that I will be able to squeeze in an extra session or two a week from the cutting back on travel time! Yay for having to deal with the disappointment of having to turn away families because of being fully booked less!
I can't wait to hit the ground running and reacquaint myself with some of my favorite families from way back when AND to meet a bundle of new families to have the pleasure of growing up with!
